1. The Royal Academy of Arts is swinging open its doors after-hours for an avant-garde New York-style party. From 7pm on Saturday there’ll be performances, installations, DJs, talks and film screenings all coinciding with the autumn exhibition ‘Jasper Johns: Something Resembling Truth’. Tickets start at £35.

2. Learn how to belt and bellow like a pro at Learn to Sing with Deep Throat Choir - a workshop with London’s edgiest all-female singing collective Deep Throat Choir. Founder, Luisa Gerstein, will guide wannabe singers through some of the choir’s original compositions as well as some old favourites at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen from 2pm on Sunday. Tickets are £20.

3. Bobby Fitzpatrick, the retro bar and pizzeria in West Hampstead, is celebrating the late Carrie Fisher’s birthday on Saturday with a special Princess Leia-themed cocktail. The £5 tipple is made with gin, lime and house falernum and anyone who comes dressed as their favourite Star Wars character gets their first Princess Leia cocktail for free.
