1. Why do songs get stuck in your head? How can communal singing help families with dementia? Find out at Why Music? The Key to Memory’ at the Wellcome Collection, a festival put on by BBC Radio 3, exploring the mysteries of music through talks, workshops and performances. Tickets are free for all events over Saturday and Sunday, but it’s best to reserve in advance.

2. Are you loco for cocoa? Try The Chocolate Show at Olympia, a sweet chocolate expo, with tastings, chocolate fountains and more confectionary goodness than you can shake a stick at. Head along on Saturday and Sunday for £10 and try to remain calm.

3. The London Greek Wine Festival is back for the third year at West Handyside Canopy in King’s Cross with a fine selection of booze, grub and passionate plonk producers. Join the last day on Saturday, to sample over 150 labels or listen talks and masterclasses. Tickets are £10.
