1. Christmas at Kew Gardens launches today. Travel its mile-long, twinkling trail, complete with singing trees, a flickering Fire Garden, kaleidoscopic projections and giant flora-inspired lights. That should keep your Insta feed busy for a while. Entry is £18.50.

2. The roof of the Hayward Gallery has been transformed by David Batchelor’s light installation ‘Sixty Minute Spectrum’, which floods the pyramid-shaped lights with a spectrum of colour, ranging from red to violet, every 60 minutes. See it for free from today.

3. Visit Shop by Riposte, a month-long celebration of female artists, designers and makers featuring a shop, library and bookstore where you can swap feminist titles. Find it at the KK Outlet near Old Street tube until December 22.
