1. The Quarter of Curiosity Shop is taking over Carnaby Street's Newburgh Quarter and turning it into a world of ghoulish frights at this two-week Halloween pop-up. Head along to the opening day to see bespoke Halloween installations across the street and to get stuck into free Halloween headdress making workshops at 12noon and 6pm.

2. Listen to writer Iain Sinclair chat to artist, writer and archivist Rachel Lichenstein in 'Iain Sinclair: The Last London' - a talk celebrating the the final chapter of his series of books about the city we live in, which he began penning in the ‘60s when he moved to Hackney. Tickets are £3.

3. Listen to a well-versed clutch of young poets share their work at The Poetry Society Showcase, which is celebrating 19 years of the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award. The free event begins at 2pm at the South Bank Centre and is part of the London Literature Festival.
