1. Have a morbid night out at 'It's Your Funeral' in Bethnal Green Working Man's Club. Cue mournful humour and performance, from music and theatre to clowning and sword swallowing acts as a 'lucky' audience member is laid to rest. You might want to wear black. Tickets start at £8. Join the funeral party from 7pm.
2. It's time to stein with Oktoberfest at Brixton Rooftop, the former home of Brixton Beach. Swap your swimsuit for some Lederhosen and join for a day of bratwurst from by Herman Ze German, beer and Oompha band music. There's even a Berlin-themed techno room (but no Hasselhoff, sorry). Tickets start at £10 and the beerfest runs until Sunday.
3. See two twentieth century artistic giants in one room with Dalí/Duchamp at the Royal Academy of Arts. The exhibition explores the incredible friendship between two surreal masters: Marcel Duchamp and Salvador Dalí.
