[title]
Feeling those Monday blues today? This probably won't help. TfL has created a map that shows every road collision in London from 2005-2014, and as you can imagine, it's not exactly the cheeriest of maps. The interactive map uses police data to pinpoint the location, date and time of traffic collisions in London, with details of how serious the crash was and a brief description of what happened. You can view the map by year and filter the data by vehicle type, the age of those involved and how severe the incident was.
TfL plans to update the map at regular intervals throughout the year, with the hope that the map will help improve road safety by encouraging road users to take extra care at junctions. Okay, so you probably won't want to spend hours trawling through this depressing data, but it's worth sussing out whether your commute is littered with collision hotspots so that you can give them a wide berth in future.
Find out more information and check out the map.
