Until recently, there was only one air ambulance in the whole of London. But after a successful appeal to raise money for another one, London finally got itself a much-needed second air ambulance in January this year. And to showcase all the hard work they do, the charity has released this handy map that shows how many call-outs they responded to last year – because everything looks better in map form.

For the third year running, Westminster had the highest number of call-outs of all London boroughs with 115 incidents, followed by Lambeth (113 incidents) and Hackney (111 incidents).

See the full list of the top ten boroughs with the most call-outs:

1. Westminster: 115
2. Lambeth: 113
3. Hackney: 111
4. Tower Hamlets: 87
5. Newham: 77
6. Ealing: 77
7. Lewisham: 71
8. Barnet: 70
9. Greenwich: 69
10. Hillingdon: 65
