There isn't a single situation we can think of that isn't improved by the presence of booze, which is why we like to have the option to crack open a can of beer or break out a bottle of wine whenever we bloody well choose – even if that is while we're just walking down the street. But an interactive map by campaign group Manifesto Club shows that police have the power to confiscate alcohol if you're drinking on the streets in 74 zones across the 32 London boroughs and the City of London. The map also shows extra details for some zones, including how long the ban has been in action and the number of alcohol confiscations per year. And here we were thinking we could drink wherever we wanted. Oops.
