CityMapper and TfL's Journey Planner have saved us from losing our minds on countless occasions, but neither of them has the visual appeal of the world-famous London tube map. Lo and behold: here’s an amazing online tool that does. Tuber will show you the fastest route between any two stations on the tube, Overground, DLR, TfL Rail and Emirates Air Line, while also calculating the overall journey time and price – all with some pretty nifty visuals.

Play around with the settings and you can toggle between three layouts (the classic tube map and two more geographically accurate maps), animate different journeys, and view the total journey time from your starting point to any station on the network. (The longest we could find was 118 minutes from Shenfield to Heathrow Terminal 5.) So it’s a handy tool to visualise your journeys, but also tube geek nirvana. See you in a few hours…

Head to www.tubermap.com to try it out.
