This year marks the 150th anniversary of English Heritage’s Blue Plaques scheme, which honours the important people who've lived and worked in this here city. From Enid Blyton to Jimi Hendrix, over 900 people have been commemorated with one of London's blue plaques, and the scheme is thought to be the oldest of its kind in the world. To celebrate 150 years since it launched, English Heritage have created a handy interactive map, which explores the history of London's blue plaques.
