When Uber's car-pooling service, UberPool, launched in London in December last year, we were disappointed to hear that it had nothing to do with an actual pool. But now the taxi app is putting things right by throwing an UberPool party, where you can splash about in a swimming pool in east London all day long.
On September 15 and 16 they'll be throwing a pool party at Boxpark in Shoreditch. The party will be on from 9am until 8pm on both days – so you might need to bunk off work if you want to get in on the action (but you didn't hear that from us). The event is totally free, but you'll need to reserve your space here. If you do manage to get in, they'll have DJs, food, and drink covered – all you have to do is don your swimsuit, grab a towel and hope for some sunshine.
