Bad news for DLR users hoping to get anywhere in a hurry next week, as the RMT union has just announced a 48-hour strike on the line next week. So much for the benefits of driverless trains, eh? Although the DLR runs automatically, the line requires 'train captains' for safety reasons. The strike will run from 4am on November 3 until the same time on November 5. Good luck out there!
