Remember when the Piccadilly line was in absolute chaos at the end of last year? Yeah, we’re still not over it either. Although the problems were eventually resolved, it looks like the line is still a bit of a shambles. According to a Freedom of Information request from London Assembly transport spokesman Keith Prince, there have been 47,800 hours of delays on the Piccadilly line in the last ten months. That’s nearly 2,000 days, people, which is over FIVE YEARS.

The stats were calculated by measuring the delay caused to each train and multiplying it by the number of people affected. Problems on the Piccadilly line accounted for a third of all rush hour delays. Looks like the Central line might have some competition for the Worst Tube Line Of All Time.
