A new exhibition is bringing the digital world into the physical realm, exploring our obsession with memes. The exhibition, excellently titled ‘What Do You Meme’ is running at Peckham’s Holdrons Arcade until Monday August 22 and more than 10,000 people have said they’re attending the event on Facebook.

The show's aim is to celebrate memes as a ‘democratic art form’. Organisers hope the display will explore the history of memes from their origins on sites like Reddit and 4chan to their nature as political and creative communicators. They say there will be memes from female meme collectives, colloquial meme sites and meme archives on display. Plus, they promise meme-inspired pants. Time to immerse yourself in the world of Doge and co.
