If you're still reeling from the shocking news of the senseless murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in West Yorkshire yesterday, grab an umbrella and head to Parliament Square after work tonight. From 8pm there will be a vigil and speeches from MPs paying tribute to the 41-year-old who was shot and stabbed in the street as she headed to a constituency surgery on Thursday. The Facebook event page currently has over 1,500 people down to attend, so cancel your Friday night plans and head down to pay your respects.

Find out more about the vigil tonight or if you can't make it, you can donate to charities chosen by her family.

Thanks Daniel Murtha (@_danm_) for the great illustration.
