The Southbank Centre is holding a retrospective of Ryan Lo’s designs, and you're invited.
Born in Hong Kong, womenswear designer Ryan has lived in London for ages now and somehow this grey city has inspired an incredibly romantic, hyper-feminine aesthetic. Famous for his frills and use of pastels, his cuter than cute designs laugh in the face of minimalism. Perfectly pretty, his clothes are sort of like grown-up versions of what you dreamed of wearing when you were five years old.
This Saturday you can see his dreamy designs on the catwalk for free at Royal Festival Hall. It's an exclusive showing of his work from the past six years, and Ryan himself has picked his favourite pieces, which include the following lovely looks.
See Ryan Lo's designs in person at The Clore Ballroom at Royal Festival Hall, The Southbank Centre. Saturday July 23, 1pm-1.15pm and 2.45pm-3pm.
