[title]
Aficionados of all things fish and finger-shaped 2 Fingers are hosting their first pop-up of 2016 this Sunday at Acoustic Sunday. Located at The Crypt in Haggerston, the free shindig (running 2pm-8pm) pairs live music with one of the most moreish foodstuffs ever invented – the humble fish finger.
Prices range from £3.50 to £6.50 and as well as the 'Old Skool' classic (Bird's Eye fish finger and ketchup sarnie, naturally), 2 Fingers offer a ‘Po$h’ – a cod loin version that comes in a salt- and pepper-crusted bloomer loaf, accompanied by chunky, home-made tartare sauce. If you can't choose between the two you can have the ‘50:50’ – a bit of both.
Alternatively, you can pick up the bread-less 'Just Fingers' or the spicy ‘Cod Creole’, and team the lot with a side order of hand-cut chips (£2) or sweet potato fries (£3). Sounds like a fine fish supper indeed.
