We've had bottomless brunches, avocado brunches and now there's one more to add to the list: a four-course porridge brunch. It's from the people behind London's first Porridge Café (obviously) and it's on this weekend (June 25-26) at The Joker Pub in Islington. It's loosely inspired by 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', on the premise that 'the three bears ate porridge, but Goldilocks introduced them to brunch'. Either way, there will be porridge. And lots of it.

The four-course menu includes a savoury porridge with slow poached quail's eggs, kale puree, asparagus and avocado, as well as a three-hour slow-cooked coconut lemon infused porridge with basil, caramelised peach and salted macadamia nut brittle. It'll totally blow your usual sachets of Quaker Oats out of the (boiling hot) water.

The Three Bears Brunch is at The Joker, 58 Penton St, N1 9PZ. June 25-26. £20. Get tickets.
