UPDATE: EVERYTHING HAS NOW SOLD OUT SO IT HAS CLOSED DOWN!

Move over, Poundland, because there's a new place in town where you can stock up on bargain packets of biscuits and tins of spaghetti hoops for a fraction of the cost – quite literally. Easyjet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou has decided to venture into the food market with the launch of a new budget supermarket in north-west London, where everything is 25p. Seriously.

The easyFoodstore is in Park Royal (it's on the Piccadilly line, FYI) and it's selling 76 products including pasta sauce, sardines, digestive biscuits and baked beans. Obviously the quality of the products might vary – presumably a tin of 25p chicken curry isn't going to wow your tastebuds – but it won't put a massive dent in your bank balance to find out.

easyFoodstore is at Park Royal West, North Circular, NW10 7XP
