With 'Skyfall' still the highest grossing movie of all time in the UK, expectations are skyrocketing for the new James Bond adventure, 'Spectre'. Reuniting the dream team of director Sam Mendes, star Daniel Craig and screenwriters Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan, the new film finds the moody secret agent reeling from the death of his maternal substitute M, and following the breadcrumb trail left by former adversary Raoul Silva. It leads, of course, to the shadowy power syndicate known only as Spectre, and to Christoph Waltz as a psychotic plutocrat who is presumably bent on world domination.

With filming locations as far afield as Morocco, Mexico City, Austria and Vauxhall, 'Spectre' looks set to be a globe-trotting, bad-guy-capping, martini-sipping romp in the finest James Bond tradition, replete with sneering villains, deafening shootouts and women with long legs and very few lines (that said, we're pleased-ish to see Monica Bellucci on the cast list as the first-ever age-appropriate 'Bond girl').

'Spectre' is out on Oct 26 in the UK (ten days ahead of the Americans – take that, Uncle Sam!), and we'll have a first-look review, plus an interview with Daniel Craig himself, in advance of the release. Keep your sights trained here.
