The Jubilee line is set to become the third night tube line

Big news for anyone who lives between Stamford and Stratford: the Jubilee line is the next Underground service to get the night tube treatment. TfL announced today that the grey line will join the Central and Victoria lines in operating a 24-hour Underground service as of October 7. Getting home from gigs at the O2 or any really late-night shopping trips at Stratford should be a breeze now. But don't get too jealous if your nearest tube is on the Northern or Piccadilly lines – they're expected to follow suit by the end of the year, followed later by the Circle line and Met.
