After the art-fuelled nightmare that was Frieze week, things have calmed back down in the art world and returned to their normal, sedate, chin-stroking pace. But that doesn’t mean that there’s not a whole buttload of art to get in your eyeholes, no, no, no – there’s tons of good stuff out there. So we’ve done our bit to help you out, to separate the meh from yeh, and here’s our pick of the five best art exhibitions to see this weekend.
Spotlights coming out of bumholes and penii by Tala Madani at Pilar Corrias
Funky fresh African photography with a killer soundtrack by Malick Sidibé at Somerset House
Paintings so full of riddles and weird symbols that we don’t know wtf is going on by Neo Rauch at David Zwirner
Drama, blood, drama, an old dude breastfeeding and more drama in Beyond Caravaggio at The National Gallery
