It’s never exactly been hard work finding a good pint of beer in Dalston, but now, Hackney’s hippest enclave is getting a whole day dedicated to the stuff.

Dalston Beer Day is being hosted by 40ft Brewery – a small-batch operation that does its boozy thing in an E8 shipping container. They’ve invited a whole host of their beer-making neighbours (including Beavertown, Five Points, Hammerton, One Mile End and Wild Card) to their gaff on Saturday July 30, for a day-long celebration of brilliant brews being crafted in east London and beyond.

And that’s basically it – no funny stuff, no tickets – simply turn up from midday on Saturday and soak up the atmosphere (plus a few crafty pints).

Saturday July 30, midday–9pm. Bootyard, Abbott St, E8 3DP.
