Over the next three months, The Diner will be asking folks to vote with their stomachs in a Brexit-themed in-or-out burger poll. Ahead of the European referendum on June 23, they've created two special-edition burgers – the 'Le Dave' and the 'Sir Boris'. But don't let the names put you off – the David Cameron-inspired burger celebrates all things continental with a French Charolais beef patty, topped with Swiss cheese and caramelised (or ‘Cameronised’ as they're calling them) onions in a brioche bun, as well as a side of garlic chips.

Or if you side with our fluffy-haired mayor, you can opt for the 'Sir Boris', a British ground chuck steak patty loaded with smoked applewood cheese and bacon on a floury bap. And instead of chips, you'll get a side of roast potatoes and gravy. It kicks off today (March 22) and they'll be announcing which one diners liked best on June 22.

Available at all branches of The Diner. March 22–June 22.
