1. Borough Market is re-opening today following the London Bridge attacks. The traders will link arms and observe a moment’s silence before ringing the market bell at 10am.

2. King of slapstick and silent film pioneer Charlie Chaplin is getting a blue plaque in Brixton where he lived for two years with his brother Sydney. Head along to Glenshaw Mansions on Brixton Road to see the unveiling at 2pm.  

 3. Join the National Army Museum’s first after-hours event. The Feminism Late will look at the evolving experiences of women in the army and examine how feminist thinking influences their lives. The evening starts at 6:30pm, entry costs £12.
