Sometimes Christmas shopping can feel like a chore. Misplaced shopping lists, out-of-stock gifts, tired feet and endless queues can bring out the Grinch in even the most tinsel-happy among us. Luckily, Carnaby Street is throwing a shopping party that will leave you feeling thoroughly festive.

To coincide with its Christmas light switch-on party at 6pm tonight, shoppers can enjoy a 20 percent discount in over 100 shops between 5-9pm including Levi’s, Dr Martens, Lazy Oaf and MAC. Shopping is obviously more bearable with a bellyfull of food and a glass of something boozy in hand, which is why you can pick up a free cocktail at pop-up Lanique bar on Ganton Street and take advantage of 20 percent off Pizza Pilgrims, Dirty Bones, Cinnamon Soho, Whyte & Brown and many more.

This year's Christmas lights are inspired by the V&A's new exhibition ‘You Say You Want A Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-1970’, a thrilling journey through the swinging sixties as told through the fashion, music and culture of the era. Many stores have hired DJs to play 1960s classics, while Barbers Point will be offering Mod haircuts. It'll definitely beat your usual mad rush around Westfield on Christmas Eve.

Register for your free ticket on the website and check out the rest of the deals on offer here. The Carnaby Christmas switch-on Party is on Thu Nov 10. 5-9pm.
