Carnaby street turned all Carnival on Thursday November 9 as the annual Christmas lights were switched on. If there’s one thing we know about Carnaby Street, it’s that they don’t do things by halves. The pedestrianised shopping haven in Soho is always inventive with its Christmas decorations, and the huge event featured discounts, live music and free in-store activities. Dancers and stilt-walkers joined the party, along with a massive confetti canon. It’s like summer never ended.
The Carnaby Street lights are running until January 5 2018.
