It's hard to remember life in London without Citymapper. The app has been helping us navigate tubes strikes and drunken journeys home since it launched a few years ago. And now apps like Citymapper could be about to get even more useful thanks to TfL's new data feeds, which will provide app developers with new information about traffic and parking spaces in London. Today, TfL is releasing data that allows Londoners to find out exactly how many parking spaces are left in all 61 London Underground station car parks, and you can even eye up a particular spot at 23 of them with live feeds.

And even if you don't have a car but want to know whether there's traffic that'll slow you down on the bus or in a cab, you can now use these handy 'Jam Cams', which show five seconds of looped video that's updated regularly throughout the day to show how busy London's roads are looking.
