If you decided to walk to work during the tube strike last week then you might have found yourself wandering down unfamiliar streets. But did you happen to stumble across Cumming Street or Swallow Passage? Yep, we've got our heads firmly in the gutter because it turns out London has a whole lot of filthy street names and digital marketer Peter Brown has created a website called rudestreets.com where you can see them all on Google Maps.
And it's not just London, there are also some corkers in the rest of the UK, including Crotch Crescent in Oxfordshire and Butthole Lane in Leicestershire. Some of them don't even sound like street names, for example: The Knob. Imagine the awkward phone calls you'd have trying to order a takeaway if you lived there: 'Thanks mate, I'm at number 4, The Knob'. Still, it's probably better than living in Shitterton.
