Parlour, Kensal Rise
I fell in love with Parlour for the unlimited toasting station because carbs are my friend. Jesse Dunford-Wood, chef extraordinaire is also responsible for some pretty slamming arctic roll too.
WEST
Egg Break, Notting Hill
A welcome break from the mayhem of Portobello on a Saturday. I’ve had everything on their menu and I can say that the crispy polenta with mushroom ragu and a fried egg cannot get in my face fast enough.
EAST
Lobster Bar, London Fields
Our local shellfish and cocktail restaurant (we all have one, duh) does a mean Lobster benedict.
CENTRAL
Berners Tavern, Fitzrovia
After you stop gawping at the room and taking selfies, you suddenly realise that it's not at all style over substance. The hazelnut waffles with cream are as delicious as the room is fabulous.
SOUTH
Salon, Brixton
This is a real gem, hidden away up a wooden staircase at the back of a deli. The cheese cornbread with ham hock and a banana bread with homemade Nutella chaser is my idea of a great breakfast.
