Survive a New Year's Day hangover with these delicious home deliveries

Let's not kid ourselves, we're all craving something hot and greasy to ease the nagging hangovers from the celebrations last night.

Last New Year's Day more than a quarter of a million of us Brits reached straight for takeaway menus: it's a wonder there's any sustenance left in the UK. Thankfully in the capital we've got tons to choose from, whether your stomach is screaming for a saag aloo or pining after a pizza, and we've rounded up a whole bunch of the best to make deciding a little easier on those ailing brains of yours.

Those in and around the Kilburn area who fancy Indian cuisine that's huge on flavour, give Anjanaas a call: they'll be serving the midday-risers, as well as the dinner rush.

Not everyone wants hot food, of course, so if you live in Hackney and you're craving chilled, refreshing sushi, Uchi is on-hand with sashimi, nori rolls and sisho daikon (salad) with asparagus. Plus a few specials of the day that they announce on their Instagram.
