Have you ever wandered past the pianos at St Pancras station and wished you had something better to offer than a mediocre rendition of 'Three Blind Mice'? Well, now's your chance. For the next three weeks, St Pancras has teamed up with charity Youth Music to help Londoners add a new string to their bow with free piano lessons in the station. The lessons are 20 minutes long and there's no need to pre-book, just turn up and put your name down for a slot.
And if don't fancy tickling the ivories in the traditional sense, they're also setting up a giant floor piano, which you can go and jump around on and make some not-so sweet music. All the activities are free, but the whole shebang is hoping to raise funds to support future Youth Music community projects. If you want to make a £5 donation you can text 'YMUS15' to 70070 or donate online.
Free lessons are running from 11am - 2pm, July 23 - August 12. The giant floor piano will be up and running from 9am - 3pm, July 23 - 25. St Pancras International, Euston Road, N1C 4QP.
