Whether you fancy watching a film in the great outdoors, eating your weight in fried chicken or sipping on cocktails from detergent bottles (yes, really), we've got you covered with the best pop-ups in town this month.

Luna Cinema

Got faith in the great British summer? Grab a blanket just in case and get cosy at one of Luna Cinema's outdoor screenings. They'll be taking over Tooting Common, Kenwood House, Brockwell Lido and other ace locations for alfresco screenings of everyone's favourite classic flicks - 'Grease', 'Jaws' and 'Top Gun' - as well as some new releases including 'Pitch Perfect' and 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.

Butchies residency at Dalston Roof Park

You'll usually find the folks from fried chicken specialists Butchies at Broadway Market, but this month they're taking things to the roof with a residency at Dalston Roof Park until July 24. They'll be firing up their fryers and cooking up fried chicken sandwiches, hot wings and twice-cooked fries with chicken salt. They'll be there Tuesday to Sunday, so you can get your fried-chicken fix (almost) all week long. Dalston Roof Park, Print House, 18 Ashwin Street, E8 3DL. Until July 24.

Night Tales

Street food mecca Night Tales is back in town for another summer of food, booze, music and good vibes. After two years in Shoreditch, they've relocated to an old stone merchant and car scrap yard in Hackney Wick and it's now open until August 27. The old garages have been turned into food shacks, where the likes of Rudie's, Nanny Bill's and Wingman's will be serving up some seriously tasty grub. There's also a sun terrace, a dancefloor and the Lazy Flamingo Bar, where you can sip on piña coladas, but hopefully not get caught in the rain. 1-2 Hepscott Road, E9 5HB.

Prawnography seafood brunches

The excellently named Prawnography is shaking things up in the breakfast department with the launch of their seafood brunches, which kicks off on July 9. They'll be taking the reigns in the kitchen at Fish Market in Liverpool Street, and serving up classic breakfast dishes with a fishy twist. Expect scallop and bacon rolls, crabmeat soldiers with boiled duck eggs, Prawn Benedict and freshly baked croissants with shrimp marmalade. And they've even managed to sneak some seafood into the bloody marys, with prawn-infused vodka. Sounds a bit fishy to us. Fish Market is at 16 New St, EC2M 4TR. Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 4pm.

Pop-up Screens

These guys will be pumping their inflatable screens all over London this summer, with screenings in Bishops Park in Fulham, Greenwich Peninsula and Hither Green. Tickets are only £12 and you can expect everything from 'Anchorman' to 'Dirty Dancing'. And as for those all-important movie snacks, they'll be selling popcorn, burgers and booze, but you're welcome to bring your own supplies, too.

Keeping up with the Joneses

This pop-up from the people who brought you the avocado brunch promises to take you on a 'domestic journey', which doesn't sound that appealing, but bear with us. Your host is 'Mrs Jones', who will be guiding you a bizarre immersive event at her Clerkenwell home. There are eight rooms to explore, each with its own domestic theme. Think giant dishwashers, pillow fights and washing powder snowstorms. You'll be fed and watered, too, with macaron dishwasher tablets, edible vodka toothpaste and cocktails in detergent bottles. 10 Clerkenwell Green, EC1R 0DU. July 7–10, 5.30pm–11pm.
