‘It is heartbreaking to close the door because we can’t fit you all in anymore!’ This sentence from the Facebook event page for Sink The Pink’s upcoming final night at the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club sums it up: sad times, but ultimately for a good reason – namely, Sink The Pink becoming justifiably mega-popular, thus needing to spread its bingo wings and head to larger venues.

STP have been hosting inimitable, hilarious, hedonistic parties in the charmingly ramshackle Bethnal Green Working Men's Club for five years, with predictably outrageous visual results. There’ll still be plenty of STP parties taking place as the crew continue to conquer the world – every Saturday at Metropolis strip club and quarterly at the Troxy – but the memory of those BGWMC days will always be close to Time Out’s heart.

Sink The Pink BGWMC: The Last Hurrah is on Saturday. Read more about Sink The Pink here.
