[title]
It may be a slightly different way of saying ‘street food festival’ (and it’s not like we’re lacking those), but no matter – The Food Truck Festival is coming to Westfield’s Stratford and Shepherd’s Bush strongholds this June, and it looks very promising, too.
The short ’n’ sweet curation of food and drink trucks (dragged together for the inaugural Evening Standard London Food Month) will include folks such as souk-inspired Lebanese types Comptoir, slow-roasted meat mavens Pulled and the Indian fusion-hawking Indian Street Kitchen (plus bubbles from Freixenet and smoothies from Elephant Juice). All in all, it’s a neat-looking little selection.
What’s more, there’ll be other gastronomic bits and bobs taking place around both Westfields at the same time – from champagne masterclasses at Searcys to cookery classes at Wagamama, Wahaca and Levi Roots’ Caribbean Smokehouse.
Ravenous shoppers (and the generally food-obsessed) should make their way to Westfield Shepherd’s Bush between Thursday June 1 and Sunday June 4, before heading to Westfield Stratford City between Thursday June 22 and Sunday June 25.
