Last week we were outraged to hear the news that the proposed women's history museum in Whitechapel was actually now going to be dedicated to Jack The Ripper (who liked killing women). Great idea, guys! It wasn't just us who were enraged by this and now two protests have been organised this week to make a stand against the new grotesque opening.

Head down tonight to 12 Cable Street, E1 8JB at 5.30pm (costumes of inspiring people optional) to join the protest supported by the National Assembly of Women, the Women's Assembly Against Austerity and the Emily Wilding Davison Memorial Campaign. More info here.

Or if you can't make tonight, there's another protest at the same spot tomorrow with the Class War Women's Death Brigade at 6pm. More info here
