Move over, meat-lovers, because Pret is about to become a vegetarian-only zone. Well, temporarily at least. A branch of Pret in Soho will be going completely meat-free in June, as part of a one-month trial. As well as some firm veggie favourites, they'll also be serving up 40 new meat-free sandwiches, salads, wraps and baguettes.

The chain has seen a surge in the number of veggie options sold in the last year, but customers have gone particularly mad for one meat-free (and seriously Instagrammable) ingredient. Yep, the avocado. Pret has revealed that those little green guys became their most popular ingredient last year, with more than five million of them used in branches across the UK. And we reckon you can expect plenty more where that came from when the vegetarian branch opens its doors in June.

Can't get enough of veggie food? There's a falafel festival coming to London.

And vegetarians may want to look away now as the pulled pork sundae is now a thing.
