Pollution in London is way worse for kids

Good news for all the people who can read this: the highest pollution levels in London are well below adult head height! Congratulations, you’re going to be okay. But it’s not so good news for those too young to read this: the highest pollution levels are at pushchair height. Ignorance is a lungful of smoggy bliss. These findings come from a study by a community group called Hfcyclists, working with Clean Air London and ClientEarth. They looked at pollution levels at different heights and found that at buggy height they were 30 percent higher than officially recorded levels. It’s horrible really, but hey, it’s not our problem right? It’s not like children are the future or anything. (Just kidding.)

Want more good news? Nearly every London borough is above the legal pollution limit.
