Don’t stay in – go out and stay out all night. Here’s your essential party schedule for this week and weekend.
Your Mum’s House Sixth Birthday Bash
The Nest, Thursday
Over the last six years, Your Mum’s House has became a great place to spend a debauched Thursday night. Celebrate the polysexual bass bash’s birthday with… a big messy party, obviously. And if you want a taste test, check out six years of Your Mum’s House in pictures.
I’m a Belieber
The Macbeth, Friday
Twenty-fifteen was the year it (somehow) became socially acceptable to be cool, post-pubescent AND like Justin Bieber. This night will be bustin’ Justin to eager Beliebers both old and new. No need to say ‘sorry’.
Tessellate
Corsica Studios, Friday
One of the disco/house universe’s most revered figures – producer and DJ Maurice Fulton – leads this latest instalment from the Tessellate crew with an extended set in Room One. Glasgow royalty Harri and Domenic set up camp in Room Two from start to finish.
12 Weeks of Techno
XOYO, Saturday
It’s week two of XOYO’s latest Saturday-night residency, this time helmed by Berlin-based techno ace Scuba. Tonight he’ll be setting the mood ahead of guest sets from Deetron and Jimmy Edgar.
And while you’re at it, book now for these parties in the not-too-distant future…
Elrow Presents The Trip
Studio 338, February 27
One of last year’s highlights was the arrival of extravagant Barcelona crew Elrow on London’s party scene. Their insanely colourful, beautifully decorated nights sell out fast, so snag a ticket to this ’60s-inspired special while you can.
DJ Harvey and Friends
Ministry of Sound, April 23
On his way to becoming everyone’s favourite debauched, shamanic disco legend and Desperate Dan-lookalike, DJ Harvey held down a residency at Ministry in the mid-’90s. He’s back – for one night only – in April.
