The National Theatre's production of the late, controversial Sarah Kane's 'Cleansed' has been making all sorts of headlines of late – both the reviews (wildly divisive, though we gave it four stars) and because of the volume of people fainting during the shockingly intense, violent production. And if you want a flavour for yourself – well joy, we have an exclusive of the new trailer for the show – pour yourself a stiff drink and watch, if you dare.

The show is sold out, but good news – fresh tickets for next week's performances will go on sale today, at 1pm from the NT website, as part of the theatre's Friday Rush initiative.

Today is also the day the new NT season goes on general sale: highlights include 'The Threepenny Opera' starring Rory Kinnear, and Helen McCrory in Terence Rattigan's 'The Deep Blue Sea'.
