[title]
What does Peter Pan make you think of? Is it Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'? Well, now it will be: a new movie very loosely based on JM Barrie's stories had its world premiere in Leicester Square on Sunday night and the film's villain, the pirate Blackbeard (a deliciously over-the-top Hugh Jackman), enters the story to the sound of Nirvana's biggest hit. It's just one of the many imaginative ideas that director Joe Wright ('Atonement') has brought to the table, including setting the opening of the film in 1940s London and also chucking out some of the story's less appropriate Victorianisms.
You can see the full film when it opens in cinemas on Friday October 16, but for now you can read our review.
