Just when you thought London was at full capacity for novelty cafés, the folks at Marmite have decided to open a pop-up café at Soho Grind where they'll only be serving – you guessed it – Marmite-based snacks. But that's not all, they're also operating a 'pay-by-sentiment' policy, where what you pay depends on how positive or negative you are on social media. When you arrive at the café, they'll whack your Twitter handle into a social media-powered 'love-o-meter' to analyse whether you're a lover or a hater on Twitter. If you're constantly tweeting about how #awesome everything is then you can bag yourself free Marmite and cheese toasties, Marmite on toast and Soho Grind coffee, but if you're mostly sending snide remarks to @TfL then you'll have to shell out for the bill. Haters gonna hate.

The Marmite Love Café is on August 4-5 at Soho Grind, 19 Beak Street, Soho, W1F 9RP.
