Move over Keyboard Cat, there’s a new clowder of four-pawed stars slinking into town this Friday at London’s first ever cat video festival. Taking over the Coronet for an epic all-nighter, Catnip Festival will announce the winners of its inaugural awards: with categories including Best Singer and Most Cunning Saboteur to appear in viral vid form (Surprised Kitty is practising his surprised face in anticipation).

The event is also bringing a host of cat-themed antics to delight the meme generation. Alongside a headline DJ set from The Nextmen, you’ll find roaming performances from ‘catrobats’, ‘purrlesque’ dancers and a human-sized kittytastic play room complete with adult ball pit. If that doesn’t make you all warm and fuzzy, 15 percent of profits are going towards Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. It’ll have you feline good in no time.

Book at nip.cat and get in the mood with our favourite cat videos.
