Has a rainy weekend in Devon been your most exotic experience of 2015? That could all be about to change, because there's a safari camp coming to central London. Earlier this year we heard rumours that London Zoo might be building a safari camp, but now it's definitely happening. But you won't have to bed down with the animals, as they're planning to build nine wooden cabins where visitors can come and stay over night after getting an after-hours tour of the zoo.

ZSL has been given the green light from the council as long as they redesign the huts with 'higher quality materials', which can only be a good thing given that they're going to be adjacent to the lion enclosure. Er, yeah, you'll pretty much be sleeping with the lions, did we not mention that? Sure, sleeping next to the penguins might be more peaceful but where's the fun in that?

In smaller cat news, there's a Morrissey pop-up at Battersea Dog & Cats home.

Or find more things to do at London Zoo.
