Feeling a little itchy lately? You might not be imagining things. We don't want to alarm anyone, but apparently there's been a rise of super bedbugs in London.

London pest controllers have reported a 108 percent rise in call-outs in the last year. But that's not all – these pesky little bugs are becoming more resistant to the chemicals used to get rid of them.

Roy Couch, from London-based J G Pest Control, told the Evening Standard that his company has been dealing with up to 200 cases of bedbugs per month. He said that the rise in bedbugs is largely down to people going on holiday and unknowingly bringing the blood-sucking bugs back in their luggage. Lovely stuff.

In other news, Greenwich is the most miserable borough in London
