Anyone who's ever found an unexpected email titled 'ImPoRTant Me$$AgE' nestled in their outbox will know the Ultimate Panic that comes with realising you've accidentally sent a phishing message to all your friends.

In fact, Google data reveals a third of people Londoners have been targeted by hackers in the last two years, and that London residents Google 'identify fraud' and 'identify theft' far more than the national average.

This is why Google is holding a free workshop at its London HQ on September 18 to teach city-dwellers how to be safer and more secure online. With help from Google's security expert, attendees will learn how to keep their personal data safe and secure and can also get a private consultation. It's also a great excuse to check out the Google offices, which are pretty damn cool.
