In anticipation of all those festive hangovers, master of the bacon buttie Le Swine is sorting Londoners out with a free breakfast every Friday in the run up to Christmas from its van in Broadway Circle.
Prepare to start drooling as the aptly named 'Festive Survival Squad' will be serving up a bacon, sausage patty and egg butty with a dollop of Swinez beans mixed with a little Tabasco sauce to the first 25 people who say the not-so-secret (and slightly cringe) password, #tabascosquadgoals. Still, it's worth it for the freebie.
And if your taste buds aren't already tingling from all that Tabasco, head to Breddos Tacos' new branch in Clerkenwell on December 23 where the first 50 people to use the password will get a black pudding taco with eggs and bacon slathered in a smoky brown sauce made with, what else? Tabasco chipotle sauce.
Even if you miss out on breakfast, you can still get your Tabasco fix in the form of a mini bottle of the spicy stuff, which both places are giving out for free.
Breddos Tacos is at 82 Goswell Rd, EC1V 7DB and Le Swine is at Broadgate Circle.
In other food news, London’s first vegan chicken shop is opening next month.
