Ready yourselves for some white-hot, party-shaped news, people: in today's new Time Out London we exclusively revealed that Tinie Tempah and Katy B will join Rinse FM at the Rough But Sweet Soundsystem at Notting Hill Carnival. As ever, there’ll be tons of amazing stuff over the two days of Carnival (August 30 and 31), but Rinse FM’s audio antics are always an essential highlight.
Once again, the influential radio station and record label will celebrate its birthday with Rough But Sweet (Rinse first started transmitting on Carnival weekend 21 years ago) and they’ve invited some very cool friends along. Grime-pop ace Tempah and golden-voiced musical chameleon Katy B are the latest names to join a fine line-up, including Novelist, Skream, Ms Dynamite, Artwork, Oneman, P Money and Flo Dan – all awesome talents, and with more to come. Find Rinse and Rough but Sweet on Hazelwood Crescent, W10, over Carnival weekend and get stuck in to some serious dancing.
Update: Tinie Tempah will no longer be performing at Rinse FM and Rough But Sweet.
