Brace yourselves for more dino adventures. 'Jurassic World' has officially been confirmed as a trilogy.
'A Monster Calls' director JA Bayona, who is currently at the helm of the second 'Jurassic World' movie, has revealed that a third instalment is already in the works.
'We’re very into "Jurassic World" right now. It’s very exciting. [The franchise's original director] Colin Trevorrow has envisioned a whole trilogy of films. Very ambitious,' he told Entertainment Weekly.
Bayona also added that he is currently 'writing the second chapter' and 'working very close together' with Trevorrow: 'It’s very exciting. I cannot tell you very much about it, but we are very excited.'
As for us, we don't know much about 'Jurassic World 2' just yet, but we do know it will feature returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard - and that Colin Trevorrow has stepped aside because he's busy directing 'Star Wars Episode IX'.
'JA Bayona is an incredible director and I know he'll push the boundaries of what a Jurassic movie is,' Trevorrow said at the time. 'I think it's important that we take risks. A franchise must evolve or perish.'
'Jurassic World 2' will be in UK cinemas on June 22 2018.
