You know what most ice-cream sundaes are missing? Meat, and lots of it. Or at least that's the thinking behind TGI Fridays' latest addition to its menu: the pulled pork sundae. Yes, really.

But before you start feeling queasy at the thought of slow-cooked meat mixing with ice cream and chocolate sauce, this isn't some horrible sweet and savoury concoction. The savoury sundae is a new appetiser at the restaurant, which features barbecue pulled pork, bacon and melted cheese in between layers of mashed potato, topped with deep-fried jalapeños. It could be a total taste sensation, or it could just be really, really bad. Either way, we're not sure we can get on board with eating our dinner out of a glass.

In other food news, a falafel festival is coming to London.

And a McDonald's in Sutton has banned under-18s.
